OUTDOOR CINEMA
We will be screening a selection of cult classics, from dusk til dawn each night of camping.
ENTERTAINMENT & PERFORMANCES
There will be a variety of entertainment in the campsite, from acoustic performances on stage by special guests to bizarre stage shows. The Beach Bum campsite will also be home to a variety of weird and wondrous roaming performers. On your way to the bar or late night trip to the toilets, prepare to encounter giant wondering stick insect, fluorescent mimes and twisted contortionists.

FOOD STALLS
A selection of top quality food and non-alcoholic beverage stalls will be located in the campsite.
TOILETS & SHOWERS
The campsite will feature toilets and shower facilities available only to campsite pass holders. Offering a escape from then festival site toilet ques. Shower facilities means you enjoy a swim in the river or surf beach and return to the festival fresh and ready to rock!
SECURE, PRIVATE CAMPING
The camp site features double security patrolled fencing. This ensures your campsite is not accessible to the general public. It is advised however to keep valuables on you at all times.

CAMPING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please ensure you read and understand all the conditions of attending the festival and camping as tickets are non refundable. Due to the close proximity of the camp grounds to the Ballina residential area we ask you respect all the camp site rules and the people of Ballina who have been generous enough to host this event.
- Camp pass. You will receive a campsite wristband with your campsite ticket. Camping passes are per person, not per campsite. Wristbands are not transferable and must be worn at all times. WRISTBANDS WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF LOST.
- Accessibility. The festival campsite is accessible only to campground wristband holders. Do not encourage entry by non-passholders, they will not, under any circumstances be allowed entry.
- Setting up camp. You will be allocated a camping area upon arrival, if you plan on camping with friends we suggest you arrive at the campground together. Ticket-holders cannot choose their own site.
- Sound Restrictions. Due to the immediate proximity of the festival site and campground to Ballina residential housing, there will be no load amplified music after midnight. There will however be a great variety of entertainment in the campground well into the night. See campground features fore more info.
- NO BYO. NO ALCOHOL is permitted in the campgrounds.
- A licensed bar area will be located at the campsite where alcohol can be purchased. If you try and bring alcohol into the camp ground it will be confiscated at the gate. This is an important measure to maintain a safe environment for you and your friends.
- Vehicle access. Your vehicle will not be able to leave the parking area on new years day, 1st Jan 2006.
- No sleeping in vehicles. There will be absolutely no camping or sleeping in or by your vehicles (this includes utes, camper vans and caravans.) Animals will not be permited to be kept in parked vehicles. Parking areas will be under constant monitoring by patrolling security.
- Tents only. Vehicles are not allowed in the camp grounds – TENTS ONLY
- Total fire ban. Strictly no fires (of any kind, including gas and open fires),flares or fireworks. Anyone possessing them will be removed from the site.
- No swimming in camp lake: Aside from the water quality not being ideal for swimming and folklore of the lake being haunted by blood thirsty bunyips, there is a total ban on swimming in the camp lake, this
is to avoid the danger of serious injury or drowning as a result of campers not taking
care when swimming.
- Alcohol, animals, glass, illegal substances or anything that could be used as a weapon
are not permitted in the camp grounds.
- PLEASE RESPECT OTHER CAMPERS AND NEARBY RESIDENTS.EXCESSIVE NOISE OR UNRULY
BEHAVIOUR IN THE CAMPSITE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, AND MAY LEAD TO EVICTION
FROM THE CAMPSITE AND THE FESTIVAL. BY NSW LAWS, IF YOU ARE UNDER THE
INFLUENCE AND UNWILLING TO COPERATE, THIS COULD RESULT IN POLICE ACTION
AND A $500 FINE.
- The organizers of the festival and campground shall not be held liable for any loss,
injury or damages sustained entering or on the site, including theft or loss of
personal belongings.
